It’s free, with no sign-up and no watermark. Your photo isn’t uploaded either: the meme is made in your browser, on this device.
Where are the meme templates?
Use your own picture, or start from one of the blank backgrounds: white, black, a gradient or two panels. Well-known meme pictures belong to the people who made them, so none are included.
How do I get the classic meme look?
It’s the default: bold capital letters, white with a thick black outline, in Impact where your device has it and a heavy sans-serif otherwise. Change the font, colours or outline of any caption under Options.
Can I add more than two captions?
Yes. Select Add text box as often as you need and drag each one into place. With a keyboard, Tab to a caption and move it with the arrow keys.
