Does it meet HIPAA, GDPR or our data-protection policy?

DigiTools never receives, stores or sees your files, because they are processed on each person’s device. That makes it much simpler to approve, but compliance depends on how your organization uses it, so your compliance team should review it. We can send them a short technical summary.

Can our IT team check that files aren’t uploaded?

Yes. Open the browser’s developer tools, choose the Network tab and use any tool: no request carries the file. The site’s security policy only allows connections back to the site itself, so the page can’t send data anywhere else.

What does a private copy need?

Only somewhere to serve a few static files, such as your intranet web server or a storage bucket. There is no database or server code to look after.
