Planning poker
Estimate stories as a team. Create a room, share the link, and everyone picks a card on their own phone or laptop. Cards stay hidden until you reveal them, then flip together with the average and the spread.

- You get a link to share. Anyone who opens it can join.
- Everyone picks a card on their own device. Cards stay hidden.
- Reveal: all cards flip at once, with the average and the spread.

Room settings and your name
Live rooms send the names, cards and stories you enter through our server, so everyone in the room sees them. No sign-up. A room is deleted an hour after everyone leaves. Privacy

How to run planning poker
- Enter your name, choose a deck and press Create a room.
- Share the link. Each person opens it, enters a name and joins as a voter or an observer.
- Type the story you’re estimating, and everyone picks a card. You can see who has voted, but not what.
- Press Reveal cards: every card flips at once, with the average, median and spread. The lowest and highest explain their thinking, then press Next round.
Questions
How does planning poker work?
The whole team estimates the same piece of work at the same time by picking a card, usually in story points. Cards stay hidden until the reveal, so nobody is swayed by the first number said out loud. When estimates are far apart, the people with the lowest and highest cards explain why, and the team votes again.
What goes to your server, and how long is it kept?
For everyone in a room to see the same table, the names people join with, the cards they pick, the story titles and the room’s settings pass through our server. There are no accounts, and nothing else about you is sent. A room and its history are deleted about an hour after the last person leaves, and at the latest a day after anyone last did anything in it. We never log names, stories or votes.
Which decks can I use?
Fibonacci (0, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21), modified Fibonacci (0, ½, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 20, 40, 100), T-shirt sizes (XS to XXL), powers of 2 (0 to 64), or up to 16 cards of your own. The ready-made decks include ? for “not sure” and ☕ for “time for a break”. The deck is a room setting, and changing it starts the round again.
Who can reveal the cards and start the next round?
Anyone in the room, unless whoever created it turns on “Only the facilitator reveals and starts rounds”. If the facilitator drops out, everyone can again until they’re back.
What if my connection drops?
The page reconnects by itself, and you keep your seat and your vote. This browser remembers your seat with a random code, so closing and reopening the link brings you back too, for as long as the room exists.
How many people can join a room?
Up to 50 at a time, as voters or observers. Observers, such as a product owner or a guest, see everything but don’t vote.
Can I keep the results?
Round history lists each story with everyone’s card and the result while the room is open. Download CSV saves it as a spreadsheet file, made on your device.
