India Standard Time (UTC+5:30) is 13 hours 30 minutes ahead of Pacific Standard Time (UTC−8), and 12 hours 30 minutes ahead of Pacific Daylight Time (UTC−7), which runs from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November. With India more than half a day ahead, an evening in California is the next morning in India.
When can teams in California and India meet?
There’s no overlap in 9-to-5 days. Most teams meet in the Pacific evening, India’s morning (7:00 PM PDT is 7:30 AM IST the next day; 7:00 PM PST is 8:30 AM), or in the Pacific early morning, India’s evening (8:00 AM PDT is 8:30 PM IST; 8:00 AM PST is 9:30 PM).
When does the date change between PST and IST?
