Questions
Are my values sent anywhere?
No. The calculator works in your browser on this device. Your values are never uploaded or stored, and they’re gone when you close the page.
What’s the formula for Celsius to Fahrenheit?
Multiply by 9/5 (that’s 1.8), then add 32. 25 °C × 1.8 = 45, plus 32 is 77 °F. Water freezes at 0 °C (32 °F) and boils at 100 °C (212 °F) at sea level.
Is there a quick way to estimate it?
Double the Celsius figure and add 30. It’s within a few degrees for everyday weather: 20 °C gives 70, and the exact answer is 68 °F. The further from about 10 °C, the less accurate it gets.
