Questions
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your browser does all the work on this device. The files are never sent to a server, so there is nothing for anyone to store, read or leak.
Does adding a watermark reduce quality?
Hardly. Every image keeps its size in pixels. JPG and WebP images are saved again at 90% quality by default, which looks the same to the eye; choose 100% or save as PNG for no loss at all.
How many images can I watermark at once?
As many as your device can handle, and dozens are fine. Each image gets the same watermark, sized to that image, so it looks the same on big and small pictures. Download them one by one or all together as a ZIP.
Can I use my logo, and is its transparency kept?
Yes. Choose Logo and pick a PNG, JPG or WebP file. A PNG with a transparent background works best: the transparent parts stay transparent, so only the logo shows on your photos.
Can a watermark be removed later?
Not from the saved copy: the watermark becomes part of the picture, so keep your original if you need a clean version. A small watermark in a corner is easy to crop off, so tile it across the image if you want it hard to remove.
How big can my images be?
Up to about 64 megapixels on a computer and 16 megapixels on iPhones and iPads, the most a browser can draw. Bigger images are made smaller to fit, and the tool tells you when that happens.
