Questions
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your browser does all the work on this device. The files are never sent to a server, so there is nothing for anyone to store, read or leak.
Does rotating a JPG reduce its quality?
Hardly. Every pixel is kept, and the JPG is saved again at high quality, which looks the same to the eye. This tool doesn’t do lossless JPG rotation, which only works for some image sizes.
Why do my photos look sideways in some apps but not others?
Phones often save photos sideways with a note saying which way is up, and not every app reads that note. Images saved here are turned for real, so they look the same everywhere.
Can I turn each image differently?
Yes. The buttons under Options turn every image, and the buttons under an image turn just that one. Images you don’t change are left out of the download.
