Questions

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Your browser does all the work on this device. The files are never sent to a server, so there is nothing for anyone to store, read or leak.

Does combining images reduce quality?

Hardly. Images are copied at their full size. “Match widths” and “Match heights” enlarge smaller images to the size of the biggest, which can make them a little soft; “Keep original sizes” never does. Save as PNG for no loss at all, or as JPG at the default 90% quality for a smaller file that looks the same.

How many images can I combine?

Two or more, with no fixed limit. Each image adds to the size of the result, and very large results are scaled down to fit what your browser can draw.

How big can the combined image be?

Up to about 64 megapixels on a computer and 16 megapixels on iPhones and iPads. If the result would be bigger, everything is scaled down evenly to fit, and the tool tells you the final size. WebP images can’t be more than 16,383 pixels wide or tall, so choose JPG or PNG for very long strips.

Can I change the order?

Yes. Drag the images in the list, or use the up and down buttons next to each one, which also work with a keyboard and screen readers. The preview follows.

Can I make a collage?

Yes. Choose Grid and the number of columns. Each image is fitted into an equal cell without cropping, and the spacing and background colour fill the rest.
