How to play Bubble pop
- Pick a level: the home row first, then more letters at each level. Pick a speed too, from Snail to Cheetah, or No hurry if the bubbles should wait.
- Press Start and type the word in a bubble. The first letter picks the bubble, and the bubble pops when the word is done.
- Pop 10 bubbles to finish the round and earn up to 3 stars. If a bubble floats away you lose a heart, but every 3 pops in a row bring one back.
Questions
What age is the typing game for?
Children from about 5 to 11 who are learning where the letters are. The first level uses only the home row (A S D F G H J K L), and each level adds a few keys, the same order as the typing lessons.
Can my child play without being rushed?
Yes. Choose No hurry and the bubbles wait until they’re popped: there is no clock at all. The Snail speed gives each bubble more than three minutes, ten times longer than the usual speed, and the speed can be changed at any time. The game pauses by itself when the page is left or the typing box loses focus.
What are calm bubbles?
Bubbles that appear in place instead of floating down, for children who find movement distracting or who use reduced motion on their device. They switch on by themselves when the device asks for less motion, and the game plays the same way.
What happens when the hearts run out?
The round ends with a kind word and the hearts fill up again for the next go. Stars and stickers that were earned are never taken away. Missing a letter costs nothing: the wrong letter simply isn’t typed.
Does my child need to type accents?
No. Letters are compared without accents or capitals, so typing “n” pops a word with “ñ” on a keyboard that doesn’t have that key.
Is anything saved or sent?
Stars for each level, stickers, the daily streak, best speeds and settings are kept in this browser on this device only. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else, there’s no account, and children never type a name. “For grown-ups” on the page can clear it all.
