- Choose the start and end dates. The start date is today until you change it.

- Choose a country to leave its public holidays out of the business days, and see which holidays fell in your dates.
Questions
Are my dates sent anywhere?
No. The calculator works in your browser on this device. Your dates are never uploaded or stored, and they’re gone when you close the page.
Does the count include the start and end dates?
The start date counts and the end date doesn’t, so Monday to Friday is 4 days, as you’d count nights or the time between two events. Tick “Include the end date” to count both, which makes it 5 days.
How are months and years counted?
On the calendar, like an age: whole months first, then the days left over. January 15 to March 20 is 2 months and 5 days. When a month is too short for the day, its last day counts, so January 31 to February 28 is one month (February 29 in a leap year).
Which holidays are left out of the business days?
The national holidays everyone in the country gets. US federal holidays, moved to the Friday or Monday when they fall on a weekend, as they’re observed. In Spain, the holidays common to every region. In Mexico, the rest days in the Federal Labor Law. In Brazil, the national holidays, with Carnival and Corpus Christi as a second choice, since banks and most offices close. Regional and local holidays aren’t included. Each holiday is worked out by its rule, such as Good Friday from the date of Easter, so any year works.
What counts as a business day?
Monday to Friday, except public holidays on those days when you choose a country. Saturdays and Sundays never count.
