      Questions

      What does 2d6+3 mean?

It’s dice notation: the number before d is how many dice, the number after it is how many sides each has, and +3 is added to the total. So 2d6+3 rolls two six-sided dice and adds 3. You can mix dice, as in 1d20+1d4, and subtract, as in 1d8-1.

      Are the rolls fair?

Yes. Each die uses your browser’s cryptographic random number generator, so every face has exactly the same chance. The result is decided the moment you press Roll; the animation only shows it.

      Which dice can I roll?

The usual role-playing and board game dice: d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 and d100 (also written d%). Roll up to 20 dice at once, with a modifier of up to 1,000 either way.

Can I use it with a keyboard or a screen reader?

Yes. Type the dice and press Enter to roll. Each roll is announced with every die and the total, and if your device is set to reduce motion, results appear at once without the rolling animation.
