Questions
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your browser does all the work on this device. The files are never sent to a server, so there is nothing for anyone to store, read or leak.
Is the saved image full size?
Yes. The text is drawn onto the image at its original size in pixels, exactly where the preview shows it, up to about 64 megapixels on a computer and 16 on iPhones and iPads.
Can I place the text without a mouse?
Yes. Press Tab to reach a text box, then move it with the arrow keys (add Shift for bigger steps). Alt with the left or right arrow changes its width, Alt with the up or down arrow changes the text size, and Enter takes you to its text.
Which fonts can I use?
A clean sans-serif, a serif, a bold meme style and two handwritten fonts that come with this site, so they look the same on every device. The meme style uses Impact where your device has it, and a heavy sans-serif otherwise.
Can I add the same text to many images?
Not here: this tool works on one picture at a time. To put your name or a copyright line on a whole batch of photos, use Add watermark.
