Questions
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your browser does all the work on this device. The files are never sent to a server, so there is nothing for anyone to store, read or leak.
What’s the difference between flipping and rotating?
Flipping makes a mirror image: left and right swap, and any writing reads backwards. Rotating turns the picture without mirroring it. Flipping both ways gives the same result as turning it 180°; to turn it by 90°, use Rotate images.
Why does my selfie look backwards?
Many phones show the front camera like a mirror but save the photo the other way round, or the reverse. Flip it horizontally to get the version you expect.
Does flipping reduce quality?
Every pixel is kept. PNG stays lossless; JPG and WebP are saved again at 90% quality by default, which looks the same to the eye. Set the quality to 100% for the smallest change.
