Questions

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Your browser does all the work on this device. The files are never sent to a server, so there is nothing for anyone to store, read or leak.

Is my original PDF changed?

No. Extracting makes a new PDF with the pages you picked. Your original file isn’t touched, so it still has every page.

How is this different from Split PDF?

Split PDF cuts a PDF up by page numbers, and can save every page as a file of its own. Extract pages is for picking pages by sight: click the ones you want, arrange or turn them, and get one new PDF.

Do the extracted pages keep their quality and links?

Yes. Pages are copied as they are: text stays sharp and selectable, pictures aren’t compressed again, and links on the pages still work. Form fields on the pages you pick come along too.
